HE Philippines will be getting a new red version of the OPPO F3 this week, according to an event invite sent to us by the Shenzhen-based smartphone maker. A recent Facebook post on the company’s official page confirmed the launch date as August 12th.
What’s more, the swanky color variant will go on sale on the same date through Lazada Philippines. The red OPPO F3 is already being teased on the e-commerce platf
orm, though it can’t be purchased just yet. Price is set at P15,990 or roughly $317.
Other than the new lick of paint, nothing else has changed about the physical design, let alone the configuration. This phone still runs Android Marshmallow on an octa-core MediaTek processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. More importantly, it still has two cameras on the front — one for wide-angle shots and the other for more traditional selfies. Battery capacity remains the same, with OPPO sticking to a 3200mAh cell.

All variants go for the same price of P15,990. In related news, OPPO unveiled the rose-gold version of the F3 this week for the Indian market, where it carries a price tag of 19,990 rupees, or roughly P15,800 or $314.

We’ve seen a couple of other OPPO models in red before, and if the new F3 looks and feels like those handsets, one can well expect a treat.
